Hi! I'm Mia.
Hi! I’m Mia.
Hi! I’m Mia.
Raised in Chicago by a family of creatives, I knew I wanted to be an artist from a young age. I originally went to school for illustration; however, as I continued my education I found myself yearning to combine my creativity with strategic problem-solving and human connection.
As a designer, I live by two mottos; never settle, and be a sponge. In my work, I try to push ideas past what I think is "good enough", frequently leading to unsuccessful concepts that still provide strong insights. "Be a sponge" is a reflection on my constant drive for continuous learning through internships, mentorship, and various personal and freelance projects (I never say no to new opportunities), as I navigate my career and grow my skills as a designer and a creative problem solver.
