Laminar Flow
Tasked to create a label for Spyglass Brewery, I designed three concept labels for a hazy IPA called "Laminar Flow". Using bright colors that coincide with flavor notes from each hop variety, Laminar Flow's label stands off the shelves with its bold colors and eye-catching illustrations, depicting a creamy beer with a smooth, laminar flow.

This design aims to create an abstract interpretation of laminar flow using ambiguous shapes, without heavily on illustration per the request of the client. I started my process with lots of sketches to try and capture the essence of a smooth and creamy hazy IPA.
Because the client did not want me to redo his brand identity, I used some of his own promotional materials from the Spyglass Brewery website to create mockups, placing my labels on top of the already existing beers for my presentation.
