Assigned to create a theoretical stamp series based on an American community that I don't belong to, I found myself researching the culture and traditions of the Utqiagvik people of the North Slope Burrow of Alaska. Hand illustrated and heavily researched, these stamps raise awareness for hunting and gathering in Alaska, celebrating the diverse range of cultures in the United States.
